Research lines
My research topic is Computational Linguistics, and I'm mostly centered on analysis and processing. I use both grammars and rules and machine learning, and nowadays I'm interested in combining deep learning with knowledge based approaches.
Currently, I'm focused on Sign Language, the natural language of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities, which presents very interesting challenges and insights due to its viso-gestual nature.
